See Humanity Differently: Support Our Next VR Stories
At World Without Hate (WWH), we teach empathy as a critical life skill and use virtual reality (VR) technology as a way to open hearts, deepen understanding, and inspire action. WWH Empathy Ambassadors Workshop uses storytelling and experiential learning to help participants recognize bias, build understanding, and leave inspired with practical tools to prevent hate and foster inclusive communities.
Our Empathy Workshops go beyond awareness to spark meaningful change. Through storytelling, interactive exercises, and experiential learning, participants step into the lives of others, recognizing the real human impact of hate and bias. By cultivating empathy as a critical life skill, they learn to identify their own biases, practice active listening, and build tools for conflict resolution and inclusive communication.
Most importantly, participants leave not only with a deeper understanding, but with the inspiration and practical strategies to take action—standing up against hate, fostering inclusive communities, and becoming everyday ambassadors of empathy.
Our very first VR story—sharing the struggle, resilience, and hope of children growing up in a slum—left a lasting mark. Many participants described it as “life-changing,” allowing them to step into someone else’s reality and gain a deeper sense of compassion.
Now, we are ready to create two new VR videos —one on racism and one on homelessness. These urgent and necessary stories will help participants not only see but truly feel the humanity in others.
We were fortunate to receive a donation of dozens of VR goggles from Meta, but the production of these videos will cost approximately $30,000. Would you consider making a gift to help bring these projects to life? With your partnership, we can bring these transformative experiences into schools, communities, and organizations—equipping the next generation to resist hate and choose compassion.
